Alhambra Theatre
The Historic Alhambra Theatre opened its doors in 1928. Since 1982, it has been operated but the Pennyroyal Arts Council as a live performance space. The theatre was renovated in 2018 to include a second-floor event space and viewing room.

Downtown Farmers Market
The Hopkinsville-Christian County Downtown Farmers Market is held seasonally from mid-April and concludes at the end of September. You will find many wonderful vendors with handcrafted items as well as fresh, seasonal produce, honey, jams/jellies, beeswax products, fresh-cut flowers, beef, chicken, pork, and occasionally rabbit meat.
Gander Memorial Park
Gander Memorial Park honors 248 soldiers who were killed on December 12, 1985 at Gander, Newfoundland while returning home to Fort Campbell from a peace-keeping mission in the Sinai. The 16-acre park is located at 41-A and Pennyrile Parkway and features a paved walking trail, benches and lighted “Peacekeeper” monument sculpted by Hopkinsville artist Steve Shields. The seven-foot copper statue is fronted by granite markers chiseled with the names of the fallen soldiers.

Trail of Tears Heritage Center
The Trail of Tears Heritage Center is located on property that was a ration stop on the Trail of Tears. Two Cherokee leaders who walked the trail are buried on site. Two of the, only three, marked graves on the trail. There is a beautiful statue garden, with a statue representing each man. The Heritage Center features a collection of artifacts and information of the Cherokee and other native tribes. Walking paths and picnic areas available, and are ADA accessible.

Virginia Park
Virginia Park is a 2 acre, historic park, bequeathed to the City by the late John C. Latham in 1909, in honor of his mother. Originally designed by the landscape architectural firm of Frederick Law Olmstead, who also designed New York City’s Central Park and many of the parks in Louisville, Kentucky. Virginia Park currently includes the original band stand, sidewalks, park benches, and picnic tables. ADA accessible with no parking.

This 3 acre park is located at the corner of West 1st Street and Riverfront Drive, adjacent to Hopkinsville Department Station #1, and includes a playground, a sidewalk with fitness stations, and park benches.
Westside Park
This 2 1/2 acre park is one of the 3 historic parks deeded to the City by William A. Wilgus, who in 1909, left his fortune to the children of Hopkinsville for playgrounds and their upkeep. Originally dedicated as the Wilgus Playground in 1919, today there is a shelter, a playground with ADA swing, picnic tables and grilles; plus a beautiful pedestrian bridge which crosses the river to provide access to the Hopkinsville Rail Trail.
